Functional tools for a financial services company
The agreement and brokering tool we developed allowed the bankers to enter all the information needed for bringing in new customers and commissions into the system. The system is highly integrated into the CRM and trading systems and supports digital signatures through its Signicat integration. At the start of the cooperation, Vincit’s experts were also involved in UI design of the new electronic tool.
Since the system is used for processing customer assets, it needs to be reliable and highly secure. The development of the system was guided not only by the nature of the business but also by the requirements of applicable laws. For instance, monitoring solutions were implemented in order to manage changes in customer data in accordance with money laundering legislation.
The cooperation is ongoing and continues to address Taaleri’s changing needs. The bankers’ tool created five years ago requires maintenance and development but simultaneously provides a foundation for a continuously evolving and expanding architecture for digital processes.
Acquiring new talents through a joint campaign
Since one of Taaleri’s goals was to find talented developers of its own, we launched the Koodiväylä recruitment campaign. This unique collaborative effort aimed at hiring aspiring developers who for one year would learn the tricks of the trade, acquaint themselves with the field of financial services and get to know both companies. At the end of the year, each developer had the opportunity to choose whether they wanted to continue working for Taaleri or Vincit. The two Koodiväylä rounds provided Taaleri with six budding developers, who have been able to benefit from the guidance of both Taaleri and Vincit’s senior experts.
