The IT talent market is always on the move, pushing companies to constantly evolve their talent acquisition strategies. At Vincit, no matter how the winds have shifted, we have always taken pride in how we do recruitment, keeping our approach modern, fair, and humane. For us, it is not only about finding the right skills but about creating a process where candidates get to evaluate us, too.
The Vincit way of recruiting
-
Realistic view of our work – we’ll share both the shiny and the everyday sides of working at Vincit.
-
Relaxed conversations – interviews can be nerve-wracking (sometimes even for us recruiters), so grilling is not our style.
-
Clear communication – we keep candidates updated throughout the process.
-
A fair and fast process – we strive for equal treatment and to keep things moving.
Most of the time, our recruitment process runs in three simple steps:
Step 1: Getting to know each other
Your first chat is most likely with one of our recruiters (Riikka, Iina, or Emmi). It’s a relaxed conversation about your background, skills, and wishes – and a chance for you to learn about Vincit, our culture, and what we can offer. Beforehand, we’ll send you a couple of questions to reflect on, and we’ll encourage you to prepare questions for us too.
Step 2: Competence-based interview
If both sides are excited to continue, you’ll meet a couple of our experts from the team you’d be working with. You’ll get to discuss your skills and ways of working with them, and just as importantly, meet potential future colleagues and hear what the work is really like.
Step 3: The final chat
Finally, you’ll meet the recruiting manager, who could also be your future supervisor. This conversation brings together the practical details and helps confirm whether Vincit feels like the right place for you.
After that, decisions are made – and if we’re both happy, we’ll move forward with an offer and onboarding.
And because we always want to improve, we send out an NPS survey after the process to hear how things went.
